Questions to Determine Work Ethic

When looking to hire someone, one important aspect to examine is work ethic.

Here is a mix of questions that can reveal a strong work ethic, along with explanations about what each question aims to address: Their response gives you a view into their work ethic.

Situational and Behavioral Questions

“Tell me about a time you went above and beyond the requirements of a project. What motivated you?”
This probes for initiative, dedication, and a drive to exceed expectations.
